The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands is again proud to award scholarships of three types to deserving 2010 graduates of Lake Highlands High School. All graduating seniors are encouraged to apply. The Academic Scholarship is awarded to students based on scholastics, achievement, and school and community service and activities. The second type of scholarship is the Memorial Scholarship. These are given in memory of former LHHS students and other special individuals. The third scholarship is The Working Student Scholarship which is awarded to students who, because of financial constraints, are required to work at least 15 to 20 hours per week while maintaining a passing scholastic average.

The total amount awarded last year was $120,000, and we expect to equal or surpass that amount this year through proceeds from LH Live III, our annual Casino Auction to be held in the spring, and private donations.

The deadline for returning these applications is March 24th by 4PM in the counseling office at LHHS. Interviews are set for April 12-14.
