Kudos to Our Campus Grounds Baristas!
There's a beeline at the front door of LHHS every Friday morning as students and faculty look forward to sharing a Cup'O Joe with friends and colleagues at the LHHS Campus Grounds coffee bar. Head brewmaster and school librarian, Jack Gilliland is the brainchild behind the coffee bar, and each year its popularity and selection grows.

LHHS PTA Presents Awards and Installs New Officers
On May 5, 2009 the LHHS PTA gathered for lunch to present awards and install officers for next year. First Principal Walter Kelly announced recent accomplishments at Lake Highlands-Wildcat softball team, first time ever to win district, Austin Roth, senior on track team, broke LHHS record for one mile, 2nd at Texas Relays, Sarie Morrison, junior, second time to win State All Round Champion, and 20 LHHS athletes going to regional track meet.

Secret Pals Revealed
Sandi Flannagan and Tami Trostel want to thank all of the great parents who participated in the Secret Pal program. The revealing breakfast was so much fun and the teachers were really excited to find out who had been leaving all the fun goodies during the year.
