2010-2011 Report Card Schedule

The schedule for the distribution of report cards and progress notices for the 2010-2011 school year is as follows:

Star_Portal Available Sept 7
Keep up with your student's education by accessing RISD's Star_Portal for parents. After an annual registration process, Star_Portal will allow parents to view their child's up-to-date cumulative average, report card grades, period-by-period attendance, and unofficial transcript throughout the school year.

RISD "Recognized" for 2010

For the fifth consecutive year Richardson ISD has received a Recognized rating for 2010. All schools earned either Exemplary or Recognized ratings.

TAKS to Become STAAR

Next spring, students will take their final TAKS tests. They shouldn't get too excited though; TAKS is being replaced by STAAR - the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness.
